B. CORY HAWRYLUK, ESQ.

With over 30 years of experience in law, consulting, and management-level recruiting, Cory Hawryluk and his team help law departments operate more efficiently. He advises on and implements leadership and operational best practices, attorney professional development programs, and succesful hiring strategies.

Cory's work has taken him to Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Dubai. Previously, Cory was the Managing Partner for the Texas offices of Major, Lindsey & Africa, the international legal recruiting firm. He received his B.A. from Middlebury College in Vermont and his J.D. from Vermont Law School.

Cory served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Mary Lou Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the Hon. Harold R. DeMoss, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Following his clerkships, he practiced labor and employment law in Houston, Texas with Bracewell & Patterson, LLP (now Bracewell, LLP).

Cory is an active volunteer for CanCare, a Houston-based cancer support charity, and he served two terms on its Board of Directors. Cory previously served as Chair of the Houston Development Committee for Special Olympics Texas. Cory also served for 12 years as a Director on the Interstate Municipal Utility District in Houston.
